Most systems are sold by the box. Yours should be drawn by the property.
A national firm quotes a package before anyone has seen your house. Six cameras, one doorbell, a three-year agreement. Then the truck arrives and the installer puts the cameras where the cable is easy.
So the driveway camera watches the sky. The side gate — the way people actually come in — has nothing on it. And you find out the night you need the footage, which is the one night it costs you something.
We do it in the other order. We walk the property first, at the hour you are actually worried about, and draw the coverage. The equipment list falls out of the plan. Not the other way round.

Before we quote you, we draw your property.
A coverage survey maps every approach — driveway, entries, gates, the service side, the corner nobody thinks about — and places cameras against that map. Structures cast real shadows, so a wall between a camera and a gate shows up as a gap, not as wishful thinking. Move a camera below and watch the covered area change.

Six things we install, and nothing we don't.
We are not a hardware shop and we do not resell whatever has the best margin this quarter. We install Reolink and Uniview cameras on Alarm.com, because they are the platforms we can still service in year six.

You get a fixed written price after the survey and before anything is ordered. If the number moves after that, it is because you asked it to.

Survey
We walk the property with you — at dusk if the worry is night-time. Every approach, every blind corner, every existing camera that isn't earning its keep.

Plan
You get a drawn coverage map: camera by camera, angle, range, what each one sees and what it deliberately doesn't. Then the price. In that order.

Install
Licensed technicians, cable concealed, penetrations sealed. One day for most homes, two to three for larger or commercial sites. Told to you in writing beforehand.

Handover
We don't leave until you can pull up any camera, review a clip and arm the system from your phone — with someone else in the house, so it's actually been tested.

We left over the contracts.
Vantage started because of a clause. Our founder spent six years installing for a national alarm company in the DFW area, and every job ended the same way: a homeowner signing thirty-six months for equipment worth less than the agreement.
The systems were good. The business model was the problem. So in 2016 we started one that sells the same grade of equipment — Reolink, Uniview, Alarm.com, a Five Diamond central station — with nothing to sign beyond this month.
Every technician on the van is licensed, background-checked and directly employed. We don't subcontract, because the person who drew your coverage plan should be the person who mounts the camera.

Ch. 08 / Investment
Monitoring from $21.95. Nothing to sign.
Camera-only systems record to your own NVR and cost nothing per month, ever. If you want a central station watching the alarm, plans run $21.95 to $44.95 for homes and $29.95 to $54.95 for businesses — all month to month.
Equipment and installation are separate, quoted once after the survey, and financeable over 12 to 60 months if you'd rather spread it. Most DFW homes land between $1,800 and $4,600 installed.

Do I have to sign a contract?
No. Every Vantage monitoring plan is month to month. You can cancel with thirty days' notice and the equipment stays yours, because you bought it outright rather than leasing it. Camera-only systems that record locally carry no monthly fee at all.
How much does a home security system cost in Fort Worth?
Most DFW homes land between $1,800 and $4,600 installed, depending on camera count, cable runs and whether access control is included. Monitoring starts at $21.95 a month. You get a fixed written price after the coverage survey — never a phone estimate.
Can you use my existing security system?
Often, yes. If your panel and sensors are compatible we take over monitoring and reprogram the system rather than selling you new hardware. We tell you at the survey whether a takeover is honest or whether the equipment is genuinely past it.
How long does installation take?
A typical eight-camera home is one day. Larger properties, brick exteriors and commercial sites needing conduit take two to three. We give you the day count in writing with the quote, and we do not leave until you can operate the system yourself.
Do the cameras actually work at night?
Yes. Every camera we install has infrared night vision, and the ones covering driveways and entries have colour night vision with a spotlight. Person and vehicle detection runs on the camera itself, so it alerts you about people rather than about moving branches.
What does the warranty actually cover?
One year on our installation labour and workmanship, plus a minimum two years from the manufacturer on equipment defects. If a camera fails inside that window we replace it and re-aim it to the original coverage plan, at no charge to you.
