Visiting the studio is by appointment — with fourteen projects a year, there is a good chance everyone is on site.

Where does Northstone work?
Northstone works across Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Arcadia, North Phoenix, Cave Creek, Carefree and Fountain Hills, Arizona. Because the practice accepts only fourteen projects a year, availability is scheduled by quarter rather than by waiting list.
Everything below is inside forty minutes of the studio — which matters, because our site lead visits every active project daily.
Scottsdale
Old Town, McCormick Ranch, Gainey Ranch, DC Ranch, Silverleaf and Troon North. Our home market and roughly half of every year's work.
Paradise Valley
Mummy Mountain, Camelback corridor and Clearwater Hills. Predominantly full architectural remodels where structure moves.
Arcadia & North Phoenix
Arcadia Proper, Arcadia Lite, Biltmore and North Central. Mid-century ranch stock that rewards opening up.
Cave Creek & Carefree
Desert-contemporary and territorial homes. Longer drives, so we cluster these projects into the same quarter where we can.
Fountain Hills
Hillside lots with view corridors worth designing around. Often the kitchen is the reason the whole rear elevation changes.
Elsewhere in Arizona
We occasionally take work in Sedona and Prescott when the project suits the practice. Ask — the answer is sometimes yes.
